Departamento Península

Mexico City

This apartment is defined by the clarity of its forms, the spaciousness of its interiors, and the fluidity of its circulation.

The foyer serves as a dramatic visual and sculptural element. The hallway, clad in dark gray Rochelle marble, is illuminated by an LED strip that traces geometric lines of light, creating a striking transitional space that anticipates the interior experience.

The living room and open kitchen form the social area, accompanied by a dining space located behind a double iron fireplace that subtly divides the space without interrupting its flow. The TV room features an entertainment center with sliding panels that conceal audiovisual equipment, as well as a library. Two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and closets are arranged along a hallway. At the end, the master bedroom takes advantage of its irregular geometry to create an intimate sitting area, finished in a neutral palette that contrasts with the exterior landscaping.

Walnut wood covers floors, walls, and furniture, unifying the spaces chromatically and reinforcing the dialogue with the materials used in the cold-toned marble countertops. Every detail furniture, lighting, and finishes was carefully selected to create a coherent, functional, and warm language that seamlessly integrates architecture and interior design.
