Calderón de la Barca
Mexico City
This triplex responds to the client’s desire for generous spaces to host guests and enjoy daily life. The concept is articulated through open floor plans and an eclectic style that blends marble, wood, steel, and natural metals, giving each space a unique character.
Access is through a lobby clad in large-format blue mosaic, with veined marble floors and a mirrored ceiling, establishing a sophisticated and modern tone. The intermediate level houses the living room, dining area, kitchen, and terrace. Warm wooden floors, an L-shaped modular sofa, glossy black coffee tables, and metallic accents enhance the stylistic richness of the space.
The open kitchen combines stainless steel, marble, and dark woods, creating a dynamic interplay between warm and cool tones. A marble rug visually separates the living room from the kitchen, guiding circulation toward the staircase.
The stainless steel staircase connects all three levels, reinforcing the refined industrial aesthetic. On the lower floor, the master bedroom features oak walls and a spa-like bathroom clad in marble, highlighted by a ceiling with multi-tonal lighting that creates a sensory experience. Each space is designed to offer comfort, natural light, and fluidity, resulting in a home that reflects the client’s personality.
