Avándaro Golf Club

Valle de Bravo, State of Mexico

The renovation of the Clubhouse respected the original elements of the building. Instead of demolishing them, they were preserved and complemented. Large single-pitched roofs were added, constructed with wooden beams and reinforced with a metal structure, integrating lighting that highlights the construction details and provides a modern appearance. In addition, glass partitions were used, allowing a visual connection with the surrounding environment.

The project not only serves as the main entrance to the hotel and golf club, but also functions as a central hub and reception area, separating the different zones.

From the main entrance, a wide corridor runs linearly through the space. This corridor creates a visual rhythm defined by masonry columns; on one side, it opens to panoramic views of the Valle de Bravo landscape. The pathway, which extends longitudinally through the Clubhouse, offers an experience of integration between the interior and nature by opening and closing the spaces along the way.

Along the corridor, lounge areas have been arranged as reception zones, furnished with comfortable light-colored sofas. These areas are defined by brick walls that function as fireplaces, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The interior design blends rustic elements with artistic details, integrating sculptures, paintings, and clay pots that add character to the overall space.
